ABOUT_
Mission:
The Talbot Lacrosse Association's (TLA) mission is to provide a safe and fun environment in which children will learn athletic skills, and to promote a culture of fairness, respect, responsibility and commitment through the game of lacrosse. Talbot Lacrosse Association is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and is operated by volunteer board members and coaching staff.

ESYLA Member:

TLA is a member of the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association. TLA is a travel league that plays teams across the Eastern Shore including Kent County, Salisbury, Dorchester, Caroline, Atlantic, Camden, and Beach Lacrosse.

Ages of Players:
Boys and girls in elementary school and middle school between the ages of 5 and 14 are eligible to play.Dates of the Season:Our season begins with practices around the 1st Saturday of March. Games generally begin the 1st weekend in April and continue for 8 weeks. Some teams continue their season with optional post-season tournaments. The Starters program begins around the 1st weekend in April and continues for 8 weeks.

Scholarship Policy:
Talbot Lacrosse Association does not want financial capability to in any way inhibit local children participating in our program. We recognize that the cost of registration is significant for some families. If these costs are a burden, Talbot Lacrosse Association has a limited number of scholarships available to provide assistance with Talbot Lacrosse registration fees. Scholarships cannot, however, cover US Lacrosse registration fees.Families interested in receiving a scholarship should send a letter, expressing this need, to Talbot Lacrosse Association, PO Box 2014, Easton, MD 21601. You may also email this information to the Talbot Lacrosse President at [email protected] Letters/emails must be received prior to the close of registration. All inquiries will be reviewed by the board's Scholarship Committee.
